Simona announces her new series called Align Your Mind starting on January 11. It’s a morning motivational series for life, business and purpose.

 

Simona also talks about the changes happening in her life and business, and how she is continuing to transform her mindset in challenging times. 

 

The purpose of this episode is to dive deep into mastering your mindset for 2021 and leave you with five actionable tips to make your year the most powerful yet. 

 

1. Honour where you've been, and where you're going. Find gratitude in the hard times so you can appreciate the good time. Not every day is sunshine and rainbows, some days are really hard. Take the time to honour your space and where you are right now, even if it's not where you want to be. You do this by creating and practicing a routine that helps you get back into alignment every day, but being consistent in showing up for yourself. What are your non-negotiables? What are the things you must do every single day in order to recalibrate into a higher vibration? Figure out what those things are - it can be meditation, reading, writing, journaling, creating, exercising, walking, cooking a delicious meal, or watching a show that brings you joy. Notice what those things are and incorporate them into your day, every day. Sometimes you'll fall out of alignment, and sometimes you'll come back to alignment, honour each season and don't get hard on yourself for coming out of flow - you're meant to fluctuate, it's about how do you bounce back?

 

2. Nothing changes if nothing changes. You can spend 2021 thinking about how hard 2020 was, or how frustrating the residual effects of 2020 are, but ultimately nothing will change in your life until you hard stop and make it change. Are you playing the victim in your story, or are you the main character? Are you creating your life every day or are you sitting by and watching other people, feeling jealous or envious of their success? No one is luckier than you, no one is more deserving - you have to take the action to change what it is you're unhappy with so that you can grow this year. Take the leap, take the chance, feel into the fear and do it anyway. Unless you take ownership for your feelings, actions and outcomes, nothing will change and you will find yourself at the same spot this time next year. All action is good action, no matter how big or small. What will you do differently and how will you use what you learned in 2020 to navigate and pivot into 2021?

 

3. Support. Ask for help when you need it. Asking for help is hard because our ego tells us that it's weakness. The reality is that when you're stuck in something, whether it's mindset, business, a plan, or hesitating on moving forward, the longer you ignore that you need help, the longer you'll stay stuck in where you don't want to be. There's no shame in asking for help or reaching out to someone you trust, whether that's a coach, friend or mentor, if you need support. This year, recognize when you need help and don't be ashamed. You'll progress quicker and blocks won't seem so overwhelming.

 

4. Dream. Have you given yourself the chance to dream about what 2021 can look like, or what you want it to look like? It's so important to let your imagination go wild, and dream up the boldest possibilities. It also helps to do this when you're relaxing and winding down because your mind tends to be less clouded with your to do list. Think about your dream for this year, and all the actions that you need to take in order to align to this.

 

5. Pivot. One thing 2020 taught us is that sometimes we need to pivot, especially when we least expect it. Whether it's brainstorming a new idea, launching a program, or trying a new resolution, if it's not aligning to you or what you truly want, it's okay and safe to pivot. There's no one way to do business, to change your life, or to start something new. The key is to recognize when it's time to pivot and listen to your intuition. What's your soul saying?
