This week on the podcast, we're chatting with Naturopathic Doctor Dr. Shreya Batra. She first got interested in the field of Naturopathic Medicine because she wanted to provide patients with long-lasting change by determining the root cause and preventing the progression of disease.

She strives to use the body's own defence systems to improve quality of life and prevent future illnesses through diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and supplementation (when necessary) to improve quality of life and prevent future illnesses. She is passionate about evidence-informed integrative health to provide you with the best treatment possible

Dr. Batra is the co-owner of Darou Wellness and works alongside a talented group of health care practitioners to provide the best service to the greater Toronto community. During her clinical internship, she was selected and given the opportunity to work in the highly competitive fertility shift where she received in-depth training in women's health from experts in the field. Her other personal and clinical interests are in cardiovascular disease, diabetes and insulin resistance. During her training she has offered Naturopathic care at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and the Brampton Civic Hospital, as well as at Darou Wellness.
